Hi everyone, the 2026 Illinois Cup series finale will be held tomorrow at the Commercial Street Criterium in Plainfield, IL.
A few notes ahead of the final race:
- This is your final chance to earn points toward the Illinois Cup. Your final score will be the sum of your best 6 races. If you race all 7 races in the series, your worst score will be discarded.
- Current standings have been updated and can be viewed at www.illinoiscup.org
- Registration for Commercial Street Criterium will re-open tonight, August 28th, at 7:00pm Central Time. This is a great event with deep cash prizes!
Finally, an update on series awards: due to the availability of timing equipment and the State Championship Road Race on Sunday August 29th, Illinois Cup series awards will not be awarded onsite in Plainfield. Series winners will be calculated as quickly as possible upon conclusion of racing in Plainfield. The final series podiums will be posted on Instagram and you will receive your award, gift, and a note from the ICA via mail. All unclaimed awards from 2025 will also be distributed at this time.
